Give yourself five and a half minutes to watch this thought-provoking video, please. It's well-done, in my humble opinion, and worth your time. Especially during our annual Season of over-consumption.
I must not be "worth the money" because I've never been a "good consumer". We actually use things until they wear out in our household. *gasp*
The "wearing brand names on your chest" line reminded me of SME. When she was a teen, one of the name-brand jeans(Guess, I think) displayed their logo on the fly of the jeans. SME always said that she didn't want people deciding if she was cool by reading her crotch.;)
I love the sarcasm in this video, and the smacking reality portrayed as 'the good consumer.' Sadly, I know too many good cons. Happily, I'm not one of them.
