Sunday June

June arrived gently, sweetly, with an easy tone about her.

Sage and lavender
Colorful petunias
Last rhodie buds
Tomato blossoms
Baby lettuce
Sugar snap peas
Green bean life
Sweet basil.

June. Newness all around.

I see your 'Victory Garden' is coming along!! I love all of the Sluggo--I have yet to get our basil in. It germinated and then seemed to say, "Hey! What happened to the heat??" I still have some carrots to plant, too.

Why am I not surprised that you recognized the slug bait, Gretchen? ;)

I'm scared to plant carrots - never had any luck with them. I think I needed to provide sandier soil. Oh well. Maybe I'll get my nerve up someday.

Get your basil seeds back out and give her a second go-round. It'll work.
