I've enjoyed catching up lately, and especially seeing so many photos on your blog.

Where is that rock that Caroline found? I need one of those in a shady spot in my back yard. What a perfect place to lounge!

Just to see the rest and play of a child, makes me want to rest and play like a child!

Pam, good morning! The rock that Caroline found, that looks like the very palm of Mother Nature meant to cradle a little girl just Caroline's size, was in Alaska, near a glacier. She was very happy with that spot, very relaxed, as she ate her lunch....and rested. Thanks for the comment. Now YOU get a chance to rest up from your busy Spring! Yay!

Sandy, I know what you mean. I know what you mean. And June is the perfect time to see kids at play and at rest, and to feel their youthful enthusiasm for both. Thanks for stopping by! Love your comments.

And I thought we live in a world where we don't seek out enough pleasure because we've become such workaholics.

WC - good point, WC. Good point. Though I've seen my share of workaholics seeking 'pleasure' in breathless haste in the 'off hours.' You know, cramming so much 'fun' into a short period of time to 'maximize' the pleasure, but it really becomes exhausting work all of its own. Not so different from the Type A workdays they put in at the office or wherever.

Man, does that even make sense?

Your answer to WC made PERFECT sense.
L and I just shake our heads at people who are in such a hurry on their vacations. If you can't relax, what's the point? Stay home and save your money!
Vacations are supposed to relieve stress, not create more.

Oh good, Tish. When I was writing it the girls were in the process of coercing me to pursue pleasure with breathless haste, and I lost my mind.....temporarily. :-)

Once again, you got right to the point, Tish. Good job!
