'A Hint of Melody'
"You get married, a child is born or not born, in the middle of the night there is a knocking at the door, on the way home through the park you see a man feeding pigeons, all the tests come in negative and the doctor gives you back your life again: incident follows incident helter-skelter leading apparently nowhere, but then once in a while there is the suggestion of purpose, meaning, direction, the suggestion of plot, the suggestion that, however clumsily, your life is trying to tell you something, take you somewhere." ~~ Frederick Buechner

this resonates strongly today:)
Yay!
This little saying you pulled out of your pocket has allowed me to exhale. Thanks Cherie.
It has that effect on me, too, Sandy. Makes me glad that it encourages you as well. :)
It's nice to know that I'm not the only one who's "lost the plot"! ;)
Like the quote and the thought it conveys. Still kinda convinced the 'million monkeys typing' method created my 'plot' most of the time though:):)
So spooky - you've been doing that telepathy thing again. thanks for this post.
hugs
Liz
Tshs: Ha! So that's you I see between the branches of the forest wandering around looking, well, lost. :D
Mike: A million monkeys and a lotta snow!
Liz: You and me, kid. OOoooOOOoooo. Hugs to you, too!
Beautiful post - reminds me of one time I was flying over farmland and I could clearly see the patterns of the roads all methodically laid out - which is something I could never see down on the ground driving on one of those roads.
Gardenia: a very good illustration! Thanks.
and don't we all live for those moments... they make it all. worth. while.
Yes, indeed, Cecily. Yes indeed.
