Riverdance

Go see Riverdance if at all possible.

It will amaze you, inspire you, touch you.

What men and women are capable of!

Music by hand, lips, and voice. Words. Dance. Energy. Color.

Took my breath away and gave it back to me full of wildness and vitality.

Tim and I saw it several years ago. Amazing, indeed. I'm glad you got the opportunity!

Tom and I saw it years ago, too, Deanna, at the Hult Center. It enthralled me back then, and seeing it this second time was equally invigorating. Yesterday the girls joined us. Seeing it with them enlarged the experience even more. Fantastic! Both times I was left sorry that it ended, ever wanting MORE. (It's the Irish in me, I guess; the homeland beckons.)

I wonder if you were in the same audience with us way back then? Did you see it in Eugene? :)

I ADORE Riverdance!

We ALMOST went, several years ago, when there was a performance 3 hours from us. Unfortunately, the tickets were sold out before we had a chance to buy them. :(

Since then, I've had to content myself with Riverdance re-runs on PBS.

I've always said that it's the Irish in me that identifies with the music too.

I've seen it on TV a couple of times but I'd love to see it live one of these days. Unfortunately, I've been never anywhere near to where it comes!

Tshs and WC: I knew you two had good taste! I'm thinking that may be the only drawback in living in beautiful remote locations: lack of easy accessibility to Riverdance and other such cultural events.
