After trying to get some good direct sunrise photos while standing on my front porch I happened to turn around and noticed the sunrise reflected in the large living room window right behind me. So I snapped this photo. I was surprised at how it turned out - surreal, kinda weird, and yet, to me, intriguing. And surprised that the reflection blotted out what is normally visible through that window such as furniture, paintings, plants, and people.
The absorption of beauty had taken over the everyday....for just a few moments.
Wow. It is quite different. I like it and it makes a nice SWF photo.
ReplyDeleteNow thats a great capture... and nice words also. Some times turning around can work wonders.

Thanks, everyone, for the comments. You do my heart good!
ReplyDeleteMike, thanks for the prayers. Mom seems to be doing much better - we're hopeful for a recovery, however long the road. I do not like to think about my mom being 'gone' and I'm pretty exhausted having had to entertain such a thing up close and personal this week. With my mom in the hospital my dad seems lost. It's just weird.
Sandy, yes, it was a gorgeous morning. I'm glad I was awake to see it.
Marie, thanks for the information. I'll be over to your blog again soon.
I intend to visit all your blogs this weekend if I haven't already been there. I do enjoy Sky Watch Friday! You people have great imagination and display wonderful photos and information.
Again, thanks everyone!

ReplyDeleteDewdrop, I never thought of the addict's point of view, but you know what - very astute of you! I think you may be right.
