November Challenge

Joining NaBloPoMo, which stands for National Blog Posting Month, is an adventure to which I look forward. Can I do it? Will I become boring? Do I care if I become boring? What will I discover about myself? Will I find my daily life narrowed or widened? Will there be resentment or a sense of fun? Will my family become nasty to me for extra time spent on the computer? Will I care if they become annoyed? Yes, yes I'll care, but I'll find ways to balance it all out. Or will I?

See, lots to discover.

So, I'll be posting every day for the entire month of November, no mercy allowed or I'm disqualified.

Up for the challenge of a marathon blog posting month am I.

Buckle your seat belts and keep your hands and feet inside the ride at all times.

Here we go!

(If you are struggling with chocolate and caramel sweets do not, repeat DO NOT click here!)

Oh Cherie, your writings are always so wonderful, I look forward to becoming updated with your thoughts daily now. I love all the food your posting too!

Fun this'll be, I think. And work, but I'm looking forward to it, too. Your caramel and chocolate apples do make the mouth water! Hope you're all enjoying.

Deanna: It will certainly be a challenge when writer's block sets in - like on the fifth day! Ha! But, I think we're up for it. Don't you? :)

We gave away four of the apples. Whew. Good thing! They are good, but moderation in all things, you know. One could get pretty sick eating too many pieces of those. But, yum just the same.

Well noone can say you didn't commit to it without thinking through some of the possible consequences! After about 20 days I get all stressy about writing, then it gets easy again. But Frank wasn't too happy when I said I was doing it again! I guess he only remembers what I'm like around day 20! ;-)

I look forward to reading your blog this month, Cherie. I know I heard about the writing thing last year, but either it's changed, or is something different, or I wasn't paying attention, but I didn't realize it had to do with writing blogs daily.

Cecily, it's my nature to 'over-think' things. At least my mom calls it over-thinking. Maybe it's okay to just be me. (We'll have a pity party on Day 20. What d'ya say? Is it a date?)

Patti: I look forward to the challenge of having something worthwhile for you to read. Ha!

So I see this post posted at 4:42 am. My oh my - do you sleep? I often find it interesting to see the times that people post. When do we think best - first thing in the morning or late at night? I am participating in Nablopomo also and it is a pleasure to meet you. I will enjoy reading your posts this month!

Hi Joyce! It's a pleasure to meet you, too.

Yes, this post is early!! I woke up at three in the morning and couldn't go back to sleep so - I posted. I felt it the rest of the day, though. Big yawns and I slept like a baby the next night.

Sometimes I think better in the morning, sometimes at night. It just depends on the day and my mind.

We shall have fun getting to know one another this month.

And so...we write.

I need to start posting more, but I don't think I could keep up a month-long pace. :(

I'm happy that you'll be posting every day. I always look forward to your posts!

Thanks, Tshs. We shall see what old brain and fingers produce this month.
