Breathing Space

Slowly snow melts in soft curves of white against hard dark stone. No hurry. No worry. No struggle to create beauty, yet beauty appears...in simply being.

Time to hush awhile, and listen.

Your two posts here are perfect for me today. Perfect. Thank you Cherie for who you are.

I should have said your three posts. The Soren K. quote is helpful too. :)

Take your time, and heal. Thanks for the loveliness.

It makes me glad that these posts had a good effect on you, Annie. I thank you for your candidness.

Deanna, you are welcome.

Healing is not necessary as nothing is undone in me, however, I do appreciate your kind thoughts. Thanks!

My all-time favorite passtime:):)

Thank you, B.J.!

Mike: A treasured pass-time, too often overlooked and under-sought.

I'm looking forward to a silent night of snow. Huge flakes, no wind, street lights reflecting off the sky, and wonderful silence that lets me hear the snowflakes hiss against my jacket. I'm ready!

A tranquil spirit abides in you, Tshs.

Your descriptive words elicit a slow, deep inhale, from me, followed by a contented sigh, and an eyes-closed smile.

Hissing snowflakes - fantatstic.

I'm ready, too.

Mom told me you have some good pictures on here. She's right! It's obvious you love nature. Me too. Your words make me think. Thanks for sharing.

It's hard to be quiet, and let it drift in front of you.

Your mom is so sweet, Ashley, and so are you. Thank you for letting me know what you think. We nature lovers need to stick together. ; )

Sean, yes it is hard, but possible, and well worth the effort, as I'm sure you know.

'Let it drift in front of you." You are a poet.

I'm ready for a snowfall, too, Life U., but I know I will have to wait awhile. Happy that I have the mountains to retreat to when the urge becomes overwhelming. You've got Tahoe, though, right? Beautiful place! Thanks for leaving your wishes - they made me smile.
