2. The trip from home to the hospital 60 miles away after hearing my dad had a stroke and not knowing how serious it was.

Longest car ride for me was across town in Yokohama, Japan. Heavy traffic, a super muggy, sweltering day, and zero breeze. Also near zero traffic movement. What made it long? I was directly behind a 'septic tank truck' with no possibility for escape. Nothing like that odor for 2+ hours in the heat to make your day complete.

Aha!! I finally found a difference in us! "Ride roller coasters/drive fast cars"
I have never ridden a roller coaster, and I NEVER WILL!
Fast cars are OK, if they belong to someone else. Fast cars won't hold camping gear, or a sheet of plywood...but they are fun. ;)
So we DO have something uncommon, huh. You'll have to come with me sometime Tshs and I'll introduce you to the world of coasters. I used to HATE the idea of them, would not set foot on one, until I rode one just to see how brave (foolish) I was and am now hooked. Something changed in me and I can't get enough of them. As far as fast cars, we rent cars when we go on long trips and we've rented some that had lots of power and handled great. Wow! I love it! I love the way they react to my foot on the throttle, the way they corner. I was doing 100 mph on the long lonely stretches of Wyoming, New Mexico, Utah, and Arizona a couple of summers ago. Pretty fun.
Not practical to own as you pointed out. But fun now and again to speed-nuts like me.
i love all things water, too.
and driving fast.
and roller coaster rides.
one of these days i'll have to try my hand at the fourth of july. if the magazines are any indication there will be a red, white and blue cake involved. i'm good about cakes.
We could have a lot of fun together, Angela, that I can see.
July 4th is one of my favorites because it's in the summer, there's lots to do besides cook all day and watch football, AND, well, I'm patriotic. You'd love a red white and blue cake, I'm sure of it.
