I need to come here and read for a while to catch up and digest but I haven't had time! But I will get back here for a decent visit soon. :) Thanks for all your nice comments and visits. Update on the weather - it has been very cold for us here... several degrees below average. I have chilblains on my fingers. The other morning when I walked to work it was -4 degrees C. (Too tired and too late to convert sorry) Today was + 2 which was like a heatwave! We are all cold because our houses aren't really designed for very cold weather. Especially not old ones like ours! Have a good day.

Nice looking fruit salad you have there! Also, great sunset (or is it sunrise?) photo - amazing colours!

I had a simple weekend, too, which was nice since I felt I really needed rest and quiet.

The summer fruit and the beautiful sky make perfect accompaniments to a family living and loving together.

Thank you for the encouragement you have been giving me on my blog. Love you too.

Cec, you poor dear. Chilblains! I'm sad to hear that. So cold. I have a widget that easily converts temps, so don't worry about converting for me. Your minus four was about 25 degrees for us which, you are right, is C.O.L.D. Our older house is leaky and a poor protector of those chilly days, too. We keep lots of throws around, rolled up and stuck into a basket, easy to grab when the *brrrr* settles around our ears. Thanks for the weather update! It's about 24 degrees C. here. (Don't cry....your sunny days will return. You need winter to appreciate them...right? Sigh...sounded better in my head than it does here. :-) Thanks for the comment, Cecily!

Hi WC! The salad was quite tasty, I have to say. The sunset was gorgeous, too. You know how photos are, they don't always do justice, but you get the idea. While the sky looked like this, I was in the backyard with my iPod in my ears, smiling, dancing around, all alone as Tom and the kids had run an errand. I had a few moments of ALONE which I crave now and then. Felt good. I was happy to see them return, though, too.

I know what you mean about needing the rest and quiet of a simple weekend. It's like good medicine. It's good to listen to the inner being, isn't it, rather than shut it down and rush out into the madness of the world just because that's what most everyone else it doing.

Glad you liked the photos!

Thanks, Lizza! You're a gem!

And you are most humbly welcome for any encouragement that may stir up in my heart and mind, then click away from my fingertips on the keyboard. ;-)
